It’s been an amazing first ever term for the Cambridge 4th team! We’ve had some excellent games against local teams and travelled further afield (including a trip to Warwick!). Skilful shooting and excellent defence throughout the court (with some unforgettable flying intercepts in mid-court) has resulted in some spectacular wins. The highlight of our term was our most recent game against Anglia Ruskin 1s. A fantastic game resulted in a draw against a team currently in the BUCS League Midlands 5, one league above the Swallows. The team played really well together, putting into practice lots of the skills we’d been working on at training for a cohesive and impressive game. Everyone really rose to the challenge, and it was undoubtedly the best netball we’d played all term. We’re looking forward to continuing this good work into January, further improving as a team and continuing to represent CULNC on a local level.
