Preseason training for the 2023/2024 season will run from 19th September to the 1st October. This is aimed at those who are interested in playing netball for the university, with social netball being run during term time at the college level. During preseason, there will be netball training sessions with our coaches, fitness sessions, and lots of social activities. This is a great way to get to know some of the returning players and prepare for trials. Training sessions will take place at the University Sports Centre. To cover the costs of coaching and court hire, there will be a preseason fee based on the number of weeks attended.

More information about our trials and Selection Policy can be found here, all information is held in line with CULNC’s Privacy Policy. We recommend that all players read the selection policy before signing up for trials. Also, all trialists should take time to read through our Safety Policy, Welfare Policy and the CULNC Code of Conduct. As we are a student-run club, we ask for a trial fee to pay for the umpires and court time. We operate on a NO PAY NO PLAY policy.
Trials are open to all, and triallists often have a varying range of netball experience. However, please note that these trials are for those who are looking to represent the university in netball and unfortunately, we are unable to select everyone. Social netball is available via the mixed and women’s college leagues; please contact your college netball captain to find out more details.

Although not everyone will be required to attend all trials, please be availiable for all times detailed:
Tuesday 3rd October 12-4pm
Wednesday 4th October 4-8pm
Friday 6th October 4-6pm
Successful athletes will then be invited to training the following week.
